Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: July 28, 2026

Overview

Subnetica gives you access to real, isolated lab environments and device consoles so you can practice networking hands-on. This policy explains what you can and can't do with that access. By using Subnetica, you agree to it.

Using labs as intended

Each lab instance is your own isolated environment, randomized and provisioned for you when you launch it. Use it to configure devices, run commands, and work through the lab's objectives - that's what it's there for.

Prohibited conduct

You may not use Subnetica, or any lab environment, to:

  • Scan, probe, or attack any system outside your own lab instance - including other users' lab instances, our infrastructure, or any third party
  • Attempt to break out of a lab's isolation, access another user's lab instance or data, or bypass the resource/network boundaries a lab is provisioned with
  • Use lab compute for anything unrelated to the lab itself - cryptocurrency mining, relaying traffic, hosting services, or similar
  • Automate account creation, scrape the site, or otherwise interact with Subnetica outside of normal, human use of the product
  • Tamper with or attempt to reverse-engineer grading logic to falsify a lab result
  • Share your account credentials, or let someone else use your account or subscription
  • Interfere with the availability of the service for other users, including via excessive automated requests
  • Abuse promo codes or billing flows - for example, creating multiple accounts to claim a promotion more than once
  • Upload, transmit, or store malware, or use Subnetica for any unlawful purpose

Enforcement

Violating this policy may result in a warning, suspension, or termination of your account, at our discretion and depending on severity. We may also revoke or grade a lab result we determine was obtained in violation of this policy. For anything involving unauthorized access to systems outside Subnetica, we'll cooperate with the affected party and, where required, law enforcement.

Reporting abuse

If you believe someone is misusing Subnetica, or you've noticed unexpected traffic from a lab environment reaching you, contact us at contact@subnetica.xyz.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
